The Los Angeles Rams were unable to find a trade partner for veteran wideout DeSean Jackson before the deadline earlier this week, and decided to waive him to allow the speedster the opportunity to search for a new team. While he wasn't a major part of the Rams' offense this season, quarterback Matthew Stafford said he was disappointed it ended this way. "It's disappointing that it didn't work out. I've got a ton of respect for DeSean and how talented he is as a player. I reached out to him afterwards and just said, 'Man, it was fun playing with one of the all-time great deep threats.'
